CMS 1.0 - It all started here.
At 17 years old, out of the Royal Navy and into a silversmith apprenticeship, learning to make silverware and jewellery by hand. Early fame came from joining the revival of BBC Down Your Way with Brian Johnson, which hit the front cover of the Radio Times!

In 1980, at 23, I opened my first shop in Bath. Five years later, I moved to a second shop on New Bond Street.

CMS 3.0 - Moving into the world of tech.
I started developing services with IBM for the insurance and jewellery industries. We delivered a jewellery claims solution that let customers replace lost items. We also designed and built software to value jewellery, 'Online Appraiser', a PC-based application for describing and valuing jewellery.
